CSO Project 2021-2022

Election observation by domestic groups encourages transparency and civic involvement. Post-election reports and recommendations by observer groups can catalyse improvements in electionpolicy and practice. To assure election credibility and foster free, fair and transparent elections in The Gambia, we conducted Election Observations for the 2021 Presidential Election and the 2022 Parliamentary Elections, deploying a significant number of election observers to all 53 constituencies across the country. Our reports were relied upon by media houses for election analysis, affirming the credibility of our observation mission.
