We work to fight against corruption by advocating for anti-corruption laws and policies, monitoring
and reporting on corrupt practices, and promoting public awareness and education on the harmful
effects of corruption.
We observe elections by monitoring the voting process, including pre-election preparations, election
day activities, and post-election tabulation and announcement of results. We work to ensure that
elections are conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner.
We promote good governance by engaging with public sector stakeholders, including government
officials, civil society organizations, and the public, to promote inclusive decision-making, citizen
participation, and effective service delivery.
We promote transparency and accountability by advocating for open and accessible government
information, providing training and capacity building for public officials and civil society organizations,
and by monitoring and reporting on public sector performance.
Gambia Participates is a youth-friendly civil society organization that focuses on promoting
transparency, accountability, good governance, election observation, and anti-corruption. Our mission is
to work towards a society where transparency and accountability are the norm, good governance is
practiced, and corruption is eradicated.
