About This Publication
Gambia Participates' annual report gives an overview of the key projects and activities
implemented by our organization in the year 2022. Gambia Participates is a civil society
organization that works towards improving the lives of communities by promoting good
governance through its three main intervention areas; fiscal transparency, anti-corruption,
and elections. In 2022, Gambia Participates engaged 1446 people in person, reaching
out to the seven regions in the country, including 77 satellite villages. Gambia Participates
in facilitated discussions around the budget between parliamentarians and their constituents.
This gave members of parliament the chance to engage their constituents and give
them a clear understanding of the national budget.
