About This Publication
This Position Paper is developed following a two-day civil society engagement convened by
Gambia Participates from 8th–9th April 2026. The engagement brought together civil society
actors, legal practitioners, journalists, governance experts, and accountability advocates for a
structured review and interrogation of the findings of the National Assembly’s Special Select
Committee (SSC) Report on the disposal of assets belonging to former President Yahya Jammeh.
